A recent survey conducted by CCSec (Clarke Construction Security Ltd), showed that construction site managers' biggest concern is theft ahead of vandalism, controlling access and health and safety issues. Yet only half of the respondents said they use CCTV or contract a security company.
The survey also highlighted that the majority of construction site managers implement security solutions as a result of a break-in or because of a health and safety issue.
Carl Clarke, Managing Director of CCSec commented: "Site security should be implemented right from the start as it is also a valuable management tool. Integrated solutions now mean you can monitor every aspect of the site at any point in time."
CCSec is committed to researching and developing the latest technology to bring the most effective security systems to the building site environment.
