Galliford Try Opens New Oxfordshire Office

Construction News Image
Galliford Try Homes has opened a new regional office under the Linden Homes branding.

Linden Homes Oxfordshire is based in Milton Park, Abingdon, and its opening is part of Galliford Try Housebuilding’s continued regional business expansion plans.

Ian Baker, Group Managing Director for Housebuilding at Galliford Try Homes, commented: "The new office is a significant move for Galliford Try Homes in Oxfordshire, a region poised for growth, and confirms our expansion plans within the housebuilding group. The Oxfordshire office will be headed up by Greg Locke, Divisional Managing Director of Galliford Try Homes South West and Midlands."

Greg Locke, who joined the company from David Wilson Homes earlier this year, adds this new region to the other six operating companies within his division.

Linden Homes has already operated successfully in Oxfordshire. Recent developments include the landmark regeneration scheme, Aspire, in Witney. This project brought substantial new investment to the area and provided an invaluable source of homes for local buyers. The current award-winning Royal Apartments development in Henley created luxury bespoke living in the heart of the historical Thames side town. Work is also due to commence at the former Fair Mile Hospital site in Cholsey, South Oxfordshire, a sustainable mixed use development of 350 homes within a parkland setting also bordering the Thames.
