Al Futtaim Carillion has been awarded a contract worth some £124 million for the construction of two residential towers for Emaar Properties PJSC that form part of its 500-acre Downtown Dubai development.
The two residential towers, which are part of the 29 Boulevard residential project and have committed financing, will each be 45-storeys high with a three-level basement car park, ground floor, and a three-level podium. Construction of the towers is now in progress.
This latest contract follows Al Futtaim Carillion’s successful completion of three major projects for Emaar Properties in Downtown Dubai, which is anchored by Emaar’s iconic project, Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.
Commenting, Carillion Chief Executive, John McDonough, said: "We are delighted that Al Futtaim Carillion has been awarded a further contract for this prestigious development in Dubai. This reflects our high reputation for quality and delivery and the strength of our long-term relationship with Emaar."
