Morgan Sindall Boosts Accommodation At Leeds Trinity University College

Students in Leeds will soon be enjoying the comforts of living in brand new halls of residence after Morgan Sindall handed over the keys to a modern 198-bed complex.

The firm is celebrating completing the £6 million project to build student accommodation at Leeds Trinity University College in Horsforth.

It is the second student housing project Morgan Sindall has delivered in Leeds this summer, after completing a 460-bed facility for the University of Leeds.

The new All Saints Court complex at Leeds Trinity University College’s main campus in Brownberrie Lane offers students a contemporary spilt-level, L-shaped building and features ten bedrooms specially adapted for students with disabilities.

The en-suite bedrooms are arranged into flats of six, each with its own shared kitchen. In order to fast-track the construction process, Morgan Sindall craned pre-fabricated bathroom pods and positioned them into the bedrooms prior to the walls taking shape.

"We are passionate about delivering accommodation of the highest standard for students and we are confident this new complex will provide comfortable and modern living space," said Chris Brown, Morgan Sindall Area Director. "We have considerable experience of undertaking this type of project. The completion of this scheme means that we have successfully delivered 1,100 en-suite student residences in Yorkshire over the past three years."

The completion of All Saints Court is the first phase of a number of major building developments to help build a sustainable campus village at Leeds Trinity University College. Members of the public will be invited to attend the official launch of the new facilities once the campus developments are complete over the autumn.
