Morgan Sindall has handed over the keys to the new Transforming Education Needs (TEN) Centre at Harrop Fold Specialist Arts College in Hilton Lane, Worsley, Manchester.

The completion marks the end of a three-and-a-half-year partnership between Morgan Sindall, Salford City Council and the College, in a public-private partnership contract commissioned by Hochtief PPP Solutions (UK).

Hundreds of talented pupils are already benefitting from the new art, music and drama facilities at the £20 million Harrop Fold Specialist Arts College, after the Manchester-based firm handed over the 10,000m² building in September 2008. It comprises of a new sports hall, an assembly hall, drama studios and science laboratories.

More recently Morgan Sindall installed carpet and vinyl flooring and carried out additional mechanical and electrical works at the £1 million TEN Centre at Harrop Fold. The centre will be used by local authority staff to learn about new IT hardware and software.

We are confident the students will continue to excel at this superb new learning facility."
