GQA's inaugural Conference, to be held at the Schuco Network Centre in Milton Keynes on the 28th July 2010 is proving to be much anticipated throughout the sector.
GQA CPD events have been running at Schuco for the last 2 years and they and the venue have been well received, so it was a natural choice when it came to discussing potential venues for the first GQA Conference.
The Schuco Network Centre gives a fantastic opportunity to those representing GQA centres to hear from a variety of speakers in this industry specific venue.
With a more than interesting year ahead for us all, GQA is delighted that a number of key speakers and workshop presenters will participate in the conference, sharing thoughts and ideas on qualification delivery within the GQA sphere of influence.
Confirmed speakers include the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), Ofqual and Proskills, whilst workshops will be delivered by Auto Windscreens, Everest and Skill Centre, North Lancs Training Group, Proskills, Schuco and The Vocational College.
Delegates will also have a great opportunity to discuss GQA qualification delivery with a variety of GQA representatives as Administration staff, EV's and a number of GQA Board Members will all be in attendance.
At GQA we are proud of our reputation as a Quality Awarding Organisation, and as such are proud to be associated with those delivering our qualifications. The GQA Approved Centre Awards will close the conference and will recognise excellence within our centres. Nominations will be made by the GQA Team for awards in the areas of Assessment, Verification, Approved Centre and Outstanding Contribution.
Whilst many centres have confirmed delegates, it is anticipated that the recently added extra, spaces will be taken up very quickly.
