Derby Homes And Connaught Announce New Contracts

Derby Homes Ltd and Connaught Partnerships Ltd have announced new contracts potentially worth in excess of £19 million to deliver servicing, maintenance and improvements works across 14,000 properties.

Valued at £1.4 million in year one before increasing to £2.8 million the contract to provide gas servicing, maintenance and safety inspection works commenced on 1 April 2010, with the installation of new heating systems planned during 2011. The £1.8 million per annum contract for the supply and installation of new PVCu windows will get underway in the summer of 2010.

Each contract of works is initially scheduled for three years with an option to extend the works for a further two years to March 2015.

Tony Billingham, Programmed Maintenance Manager at Derby Homes, said: "We are looking forward to working with Connaught to ensure that we continue to maintain a high standard of gas safety checks in Derby Homes properties. We are confident that Connaught will deliver a quality service that will provide us with excellent value for money."
