"There's no doubt that this was the race I've always wanted to win. The National is the National and to win it is great," McManus said. "You come to the National more in hope than expectation and then you are not disappointed. I want to thank Alan Berry, who looks after this horse and all the team at Jonjo’s, the horse needs an enormous amount of individual training."
This recognition of the team epitomises the Jewson spirit and approach to business. The country's leading building merchant very much sees itself as a vital cog in the wheel and being in a key supporting role to builders up and down the country.
Bradley Moore, Marketing Services Director for Jewson comments: "I'm sure many of our customers can identify with this historic win for Jonjo O’Neill and his team – he has shown that hard work and determination do yield results."
