Lovell has been chosen by Poplar HARCA as a contractor partner for its £445 million new-build and housing refurbishment framework.

The company is one of 14 firms selected for the registered social landlord's four-year framework. As part of the agreement, Lovell will design and build new homes and carry out refurbishments to existing properties owned and managed by Poplar HARCA in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

All new homes created under the framework will incorporate a number of sustainable features and will meet Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, the system for measuring the environmental performance of new housing.

"We are delighted that Poplar HARCA has chosen us as one of its development partners for this exciting scheme which will make a real difference to the lives of people living in the area," said Lovell Regional Director Steve Coombs.
