Lovell has been appointed to the new Delivery Partner Panel announced by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), the national housing and regeneration agency for England.
The three-year delivery panel has been set up to streamline the development of new homes on public land by the HCA and other public sector bodies by giving them access to organisations able to provide a 'one stop shop' for the development of new homes.
The panel is split into three clusters – northern, central and southern – with Lovell winning places on the northern and southern regional frameworks.
The northern cluster covers the north-west, north-east, Yorkshire and Humberside while the southern region covers London, the south-east and the south-west.
Panel members will have the opportunity to work on the HCA's projects including a range of regional schemes. In addition, local authorities, regional development agencies and other agencies will have access to the panel members to deliver new homes through programmes such as local authority new-build and the new Public Land Initiative.
"We are delighted to have been chosen as a delivery partner by the HCA, particularly in view of the intense competition for places on the panel," said Lovell Head of Business Development Peter Quinn. "We look forward to working with the HCA and the other agencies to develop new homes using our strong expertise in housing regeneration and mixed tenure development."
