FM Conway, the highways maintenance, civil engineering and construction services provider, is expanding its operations near its hometown of Dartford with the acquisition of a 5.5 acre site at Erith.
The former Henkel Surface Technologies site, off Mulberry Way, will house the transportation, plant and associated workshop facilities currently based at the company’s HQ in Dartford and will see around 70 people working there.
Managing director Michael Conway said: "This £2.6m purchase of the new site and its associated offices and workshops, will mean we will be able to create more space at our Dartford premises.
"Erith is close to the Thames and the M25 and so should prove to be an invaluable addition to FM Conway as the company not only continues to consolidate its position in its field but also pushes for further growth."
FM Conway was founded in 1961.
