Brooks Streamline Successful Website

The Brooks (Forgings) Ltd website launched in 2007 has been so successful the company has revisited and streamlined it to make it even easier for clients to access products and services information online.

"Having been involved in the manufacturing of steel components and sub assemblies since 1960 and in particular the production of 'Specials' on behalf of our clients, it is vital we provide an effective portal for them to use when sourcing our products and services," said Steve Brooks, Managing Director.

"Although the original site 'features' are still present such as the news, gallery and downloads page, the site contains many new and exciting ways to enable our clients to locate what they require quickly and efficiently saving them valuable time," he added.

Users can view 'Virtual' Literature on screen and download those as required and send enquiries through to the department that is most suited to the particular item or product involved. They can also join the firm's mailing list where they will be sent regular product and process updates as they are released.

'Quick Links' have been introduced to Key areas of the website such as 'Products, Processes and Industries' along with the 2 main divisions of the business, Artistic and Industrial.

A search function has also been added to the very top of the website as another time saving feature.

The image gallery in particular, is updated regularly and shows examples of the extensive range of unique products produced at Brooks on a daily basis.
