The £13 million new school project on the Isles of Scilly has taken a huge step forward and successfully gained full planning approval.
Kier Western's Devon and Cornwall team has spent the last year working closely with Grainge Architects to develop a design to deliver a school which will benefit children in the Isles of Scilly for generations to come.
Thoughout the process, school children, the local community, the Council of the Isles of Scilly, the Duchy of Cornwall and other stakeholders have all been fully consulted to ensure maximum input from all interested parties. Contracts manager Ivor Bone has also made numerous visits to the islands in order to fully understand the logistics of the project and the impact it will have on the local community.
