The M&E consultant chose Blue Star D&E’s unique delivery model of "Onsite Coordination" which is a combination of Blue Star D&E’s Offshore M&E team and an on-site M&E coordinator”. The purpose of an on-site M&E coordinator will be to improve communication between M&E consultant’s engineering team and Blue Star D&E’s offshore team.

This on-site M&E coordinator will thus act as a link man between the two teams and is responsible to understand M&E consultant’s standard CAD/Engineering processes, QA procedures and communicate adequately to Blue Star D&E's Offshore M&E team and smoothen the complete outsourcing process.

Blue Star D&E outsourced services offerings in this project shall be:

  • Preparation of design development reports by expanding schematic design report on building services issues
  • Update sketch drawings to distribution layouts, sections and plant layouts
  • Prepare equipment schedules
  • Prepare an initial schedule of cast-in/formed builders that are structurally significant
This repeat order for Blue Star D&E comes with more expectations and challenges from the client after the M&E CAD outsourcing company added value to their previous projects. Currently Blue Star is also involved in a couple of BSF (Building Schools for the Future) projects in and around London.
