Builders, developers and people who want to expand their home can get advice about their project at a planning surgery in Hull at the end of this month.
The planning surgery from Hull City Council will give people help and advice about any development proposals, from getting assistance with their planning application to finding out what the building regulations process entails and any associated highways matters.
People from the council's planning team - including building control, development control and highways development control - will be on hand to talk people through the development process and answer any questions or concerns.
Alex Codd, City Planning Manager, said: "These monthly surgeries are open to anyone, whether it's their first planning application or whether they are a frequent developer who is just a little uncertain about any planning matters. We understand that the process can be a bit daunting, but we hope these surgeries will help make the process more understandable.
"People can also find out more about the 'dos' and 'don'ts' of applying for planning permission from officers who deal with planning applications on a daily basis."
