Build Up, the University of Westminster's initiative to support the upskilling and reemployment prospects for property professionals who have been made redundant, is expanding.
Supported by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Build Up programme offers around 1,500 places for free to London professionals working in any of seven built environment and related professions.
Following the successful launch in July, the University of Westminster is gaining further clear insight into the employability needs and issues facing professionals within the built environment sector.
As a result of this insight, the programme is expanding with the addition of more courses in January. This ensures Build Up is as relevant to skills development across all professions as possible and is reflected in the current evolvement of the programme's structure.
Build Up enables participants to identify and develop skills in key shortage areas, enabling them to be better prepared to take advantage when the economy picks up.
