Provider of property maintenance services, PH Jones, has announced the acquisition of the Coolfactor Group.

The second acquisition in six months, the company adds to the breadth of services available to the public sector through air conditioning and refrigeration and increases development opportunities within the private commercial sector.

Based in Bexley, Kent, Coolfactor provides Comfort Cooling and Ventilation (CCV), Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) and data cabling installation, maintenance and repairs primarily to commercial customers throughout London, the Home Counties and Midlands.

Martin Jones, Managing Director of PH Jones, said: "The provision of air conditioning and refrigeration services is a natural progression for PH Jones, and Coolfactor has an excellent reputation in the industry.

"The company has similar roots to PH Jones being family owned and managed with strong values based on customer care, such that, the majority of work is repeat business and referrals."

He concluded: "The acquisition is a key part of our development plans enabling the provision of holistic maintenance services, not just within domestic property maintenance, but within commercial maintenance. Coolfactor has a desirable client list including Barclays and the Spirit Group."

All key management will remain with the business and the company will continue to trade and operate independently as Coolfactor.
