Galliford Try has completed The Rise, a £52 million landmark that now stands as Cardiff's tallest building, marking a major step in the city's regeneration and growth plans.

The 30-storey build-to-rent development, on the former Guildford Crescent site in the city centre, provides 272 apartments alongside ground-floor retail and a suite of resident amenities. A landscaped rooftop terrace on the 27th floor offers panoramic views over Cardiff Bay, the city and the surrounding countryside.

Privately funded by Lloyds Living, with Galliford Try Investments acting as client, the project borders the new Canal Quarter regeneration, helping revitalise this key area and reconnect it with Cardiff's historic waterways.

The scheme achieved double recognition at this year's Constructing Excellence Wales Awards, being shortlisted for both Building Project of the Year and Residential Project of the Year.
