Scanprobe is highlighting its X-Range Tablet, a rugged control unit designed to streamline pipeline inspection reporting and data management for operators in the drainage and infrastructure sectors.
Powered by Zebra technology, the X-Range Tablet comes pre-installed with a range of pipeline inspection tools that are ready to use at no additional cost. The system enables users to create video reports quickly and efficiently using LookSee mode, which incorporates titles, on-screen distance counters and inspection observations.
For more detailed reporting requirements, mina+ software allows operators to generate professional inspection reports that can include maps, site images, continuous defect recording, observations and engineer notes. PDF reports can also be edited and shared via Outlook, WhatsApp and Dropbox.
Users can also integrate WinCan ProTouch functionality, providing access to additional features and compatibility with WinCan accounts and inspection software.
Built for demanding environments, the X-Range Tablet is designed for long-term use and is supplied with Zebra's OneCare Essential support package as standard. Scanprobe notes that, unlike consumer-grade tablets, Zebra guarantees model availability for three years, helping simplify ongoing device support and fleet management.
Available with either 8-inch or 10-inch screen options, the tablet features an Android 11 operating system, Qualcomm Snapdragon SM6375 octa-core processor, 45GB of internal storage and 4GB of memory. It is rated to IP65 standards and operates in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C.
The tablet also offers flexible keyboard options, including virtual, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, while a user-replaceable rechargeable lithium-ion battery is designed to support extended field operations.
The X-Range Tablet supports multiple languages, including English, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Swedish, Finnish, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish and Arabic, making it suitable for international operators and multi-national teams.
Founded in 1985, Scanprobe specialises in the design, assembly and manufacture of CCTV pipeline inspection systems and continues to supply equipment and support to drainage and infrastructure professionals worldwide.
