EDF has once again been confirmed as the leading energy supplier for large businesses in Great Britain, according to the latest data from Cornwall Insight.
The report highlights EDF's continued market dominance in both meter points and volume within the Industrial & Commercial (I&C) sector, underscoring its commitment to providing reliable and innovative energy solutions.
As the UK's largest generator of zero-carbon electricity, EDF remains dedicated to powering large businesses and public sector organisations, while helping them reduce both costs and carbon emissions.
Key Findings from the Cornwall Insight Report:
• EDF added 14,285 metre points and increased its billing volume by 2TWh, marking substantial growth in the I&C sector.
• The company holds the No.1 position in the I&C market for both meter points and volume.
• EDF maintains a 66% share of meters and a 48% share of volume in the HH >30GWh sector, which has historically focused on larger I&C customers.
• Across the entire I&C market, EDF accounts for 27% of meters and 25% of volume.
