Clear visibility of any equipment's inspection and safety status at the point of use, with the ability to immediately leave that asset, in prohibition, by simply removing the insert.
That has been for 40 years, and still is, Scafftag's core value proposal to businesses worldwide.
Scafftag was founded in 1982 in a house in Barry, Wales, United Kingdom to start providing scaffolding safety solutions for oil & gas companies, with just 2 people and contractors. After 40 years of continuous evolution Scafftag moves into a new facility, which enables a dramatic increase in production capabilities, including new flatbed printers, laser engravers, screen printing and RFID programming capabilities. More production capacity, and more options to customise popular equipment safety solutions enable Scafftag to optimally respond to the needs of a growing number of customers. Simply branding an insert and holder with your logo and running your company colours throughout make it noteable on site that the equipment is yours.
We are proud to share our pillars of excellence with readers of BuildingTalk:
Trust
Scafftag's solutions build trust and are now regarded by many as ‘best practice’ or the benchmark set, to work to. They build trust that equipment has been inspected or tested as it should be. Trust that it is in good working order and should function correctly when used properly. Trust that equipment has been inspected by experienced and competent professionals.
Over the last 40 years, Scafftag has been able to earn the status of a trusted supplier of solutions that deliver what they promise. We are both grateful and proud that relationships forged in 1982 continue to this day, along with many new customers who trust Scafftag to support their equipment safety management.
Experience
With 40 years of collective experience under our belt, we work closely with our customers and offer valuable support to achieve workplace safety goals. Being able to send everyone home safely after a day’s work depends on many factors, we make sure that equipment safety is one of our customers’ strongest safety pillars.
Innovation
Working with customers, solving and anticipating equipment safety needs in line with evolving legislation, has enabled Scafftag to continuously create new and relevant solutions. We have the ability to customise any tag and holder to make it specific for any asset or work area. We introduced SafeTrak software to streamline inspections and manage assets on site, stopping the need for double entry of site inspections & making reporting up to principal contractors or clients very efficient. The SafeTrak system is also now available in an app, keeping all the functionality and enabling simpler on-site management.
Stability
In a volatile and global economy, Scafftag decisively invests in the future of workplace safety and in the solutions we can provide our customers. Backed worldwide by the Brady Corporation, we continue to expand our manufacturing capabilities and production machinery, doubling our capacity at our facility in Barry and bringing much of the production in-house. By combining the latest in print technology with our equipment safety insights, curated for almost half a century, Scafftag is ready to support your workplace safety for another 40 years and more.
