Danaher & Walsh Appoints David Lavery To Its Board Of Directors

David Lavery been appointed to the board of Danaher & Walsh Civil Engineering as Operations Director.

Australian native David previously worked for Danaher & Walsh in site management roles before returning to Australia in 2010, where he worked for infrastructure giants Fulton Hogan and Brierty on a range of major civil engineering projects.

He re-joined D&W after a spell with Tarmac - where he was responsible for the delivery of a major public sector framework - to lead operational delivery within Civil Engineering, with specific focus on efficiency, innovation and customer relationships.

He said: "Since returning to Danaher & Walsh in 2019, it’s been a challenging few years, with COVID and other factors affecting the way we do business, but I am proud of how we as a company have risen to the challenges, implemented changes and adopted new approaches.

"I’m looking forward to the future, working with the board and the wider team to achieve our targets and objectives, as we continue to grow the business within our traditional operating areas and expansion into East Anglia.

"On a personal level, it’s an honour and privilege to be taking over the Operations Director role for a company that I first joined as a Sub-Agent back in 2008, and I am looking forward to the journey ahead."
