A joint venture between Interserve and PAE has been boosted with a major contract extension.
The firms' Landmarc Support Services will continue to work with the Ministry of Defence under a new contract.
This will see Landmarc extend its partnership with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation to manage and operate military training facilities across the Ministry of Defence's (MoD) 190,000 hectares of built and rural UK Defence Training Estate, a position the company has held since 2003.
Landmarc delivers a wide range of key facilities management services that support the MoD in the provision of around seven million training days per year over an estate that includes more than 120 sites and 9,000 buildings.
Interserve runs more than a dozen major facilities management projects for the Armed Forces, and notably this year won an extension from the Defence Infrastructure Organisation to provide total facilities management services for the Permanent Joint Operating Bases.
Debbie White, Interserve's Chief Executive Officer, said: "Our experience and capabilities make us uniquely equipped to meet the varied and changing facilities management requirements of the Armed Forces across the Defence estate.
"This extension illustrates our ability to deliver complex facilities management contracts that create value for our customers. We are proud to be a major provider of support services to the Ministry of Defence, supporting end-users such as soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines to continue serving our country."
Mark Neill, Managing Director at Landmarc, added: "For more than 15 years we have partnered with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation to ensure the UK Defence Training Estate delivers a safe and sustainable place to train for our Armed Forces.
"The two-year contract extension enables us to continue the great work we have been doing with the Ministry of Defence to drive innovation in the way services are delivered and to create additional social value."
