Turley has continued to add firepower to its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) service with the appointment of two new employees.

Andy Ricketts was named as the head of the specialist team back in April 2018, as the company looked to accommodate the growing need for EIA services.

The latest appointments, Andrew Malcomson as associate director and Chloe Patel as consultant, add further specialist knowledge to Turley's existing national EIA capability.

Andrew joins Turley's Bristol office from Barton Willmore, bringing with him a wealth of procedural and technical experience in the delivery of high quality and proportionate EIA across the UK.

Chloe is based in London and further strengthens the firm's reputation in robust cumulative impact assessment and supporting environmental appraisal at the plan and policy stage.

Speaking about the appointments, head of EIA, Andy Ricketts said: "We're seeing increased demand for trusted EIA advisors and a growing need for EIA to be effectively used as a design tool, so I'm delighted to expand our team to cater for this changing market. Andrew and Chloe will enable us to continue with the development and delivery of commercially-focused, proportionate EIA advice and products that ultimately mitigate and improve environmental impacts. The specialist team will continue to work alongside the firm's other services, delivering EIA strategy and project management.
