Kier has secured its place on Western Power Distribution's £70 million South West framework.
The three-year framework, which also offers a possible two-year extension, will see the firm work with Western Power Distribution to carry out vital planned and 24/7 reactive services.
They will deliver excavation, cable laying and reinstatement services across the region.
This partnership follows on from Kier's success on previous Western Power Distribution schemes over the last 10 years, including the recent East and West Midlands frameworks.
Barry McNicholas, executive director for Kier Utilities, said: "Our reappointment to Western Power Distribution's South West framework is testament to our extensive knowledge, skills and delivery in the area.
"As a trusted partner of Western Power Distribution, we have recently been appointed to its Midlands frameworks and I am pleased our footprint across the UK will widen. We look forward to supporting its aim to provide a reliable network to customers."
Richard Tyrer, Western Power Distribution, Senior Buyer added: "During the tender process, Kier demonstrated their professionalism and dedication to assist WPD in meeting our regulatory requirements; we therefore look forward to continue working with them across our South West region."
