A £14.5 million refurbishment project has been completed by Pick Everard at a college in Leicestershire.
The firm remodelled Loughborough College's main teaching building to provide modern facilities for students and staff.
The work involved redeveloping a multi-storey six-floor S-Block and other buildings on the campus dating back to the 1960's.
The buildings were stripped out and renovated to increase energy efficiency, while a new roof was installed with replacement cladding to envelope the building.
The top three floors of the S-Block building will be dedicated to sixth form students with two floors provided for science laboratories with chemistry, biology and physics.
The remaining floor will be allocated for general teaching and staff accommodation.
In addition, the refurbished facility offers health, beauty and fitness services as well as a modern restaurant and bar.
National director, Adrian Ceney, from Pick Everard said: "The changes were critical as the dated buildings were in need of modernisation to ensure the college has the very best, state-of-the-art accommodation at the forefront of further education provision.
"The project has ensured that students and teachers alike have first class facilities.
"The development will certainly provide a further boost for Loughborough College and is sure to impress prospective students considering applying for a place at the college."
Pick Everard was appointed for the scheme through the Scape Group National Framework for Project Management and Quantity Surveying in January 2015.
