Bardsley has been selected to extend and remodel a primary school in Warrington.
The council awarded the £1.9 million contract to redevelop the St Philips (Westbrook) CE Primary School.
Works will involve the phased refurbishment and remodelling of 2500m2 of internal spaces in the school, offering improved teaching spaces and facilities.
Two single storey extensions will be developed.
The first expansion will provide additional teaching space with a new small school hall and studio work area.
The second extension will further increase teaching space along with a new kitchen and catering facility.
A number of internal courtyards will be developed to provide greater floor space.
External works involve extending the playground areas and the re-provision of grassed playing fields.
The project is expected to be completed in April 2016.
