Lafarge Tarmac has invested in a new fleet of equipment and machinery.

The new equipment includes:

• 12 Volvo and 16 Vogele Pavers.

• 50 heavy goods vehicles and trailers, all of which are Euro 6 and Construction Logistics Cycle Safety (CLOCS) compliant.

• Five Wirtgen planers featuring a two metre, three tracked one metre and one 350mm type.


• 60 2CX JCB Streetmasters.

• Over 80 pieces of compaction equipment including rollers.

Paul Fleetham, Managing Director at Lafarge Tarmac, said: "This new equipment will help us to build upon our existing strengths and capabilities, and continue delivering more effective, safe and cost efficient highways projects for our clients."

The investment is due to meet the demand generated by the Government's £16 billion investment in the strategic road network.
