Buckingham Group To Continue Work On East Stand

Construction firm Buckingham Group has won a new contract to continue on the East Stand at Sixfields for Northampton Football Club.

Buckingham staff will mobilise to return to the site immediately.

Paul Wheeler, Chairman of Buckingham Group Contracting, said: "We share the frustrations of the supporters and following the unwelcome delay to the stadium project, we are delighted that all issues are now resolved with the club and our previous client.

"We are really looking forward to getting back on site and resuming work on the East Stand. We are delighted to be working with the club and to be bringing supporters the new facilities. It is excellent news for the club, the supporters and the local area. Over the next few months the new stand will be completed and will be ready for supporters to use early on during the 2015/16 season."
