Construction firm Interserve has been named Contractor of the Year at the Construction News Awards held last week.
The firms' CEO Adrian Ringrose also won the Roll of Honour award.
Interserve was commended for its project delivery and innovation, while Mr Ringrose, who became the youngest CEO of a FTSE250 company when he took the helm in 2003, was recognised for his leadership of Interserve and his outstanding contribution to the UK construction industry, as well as his work promoting skills development and innovation within the sector.
Mr Ringrose said: "These two awards recognise the fantastic efforts of every one of Interserve's construction team. Over the last 12 months there has been a real focus on doing things differently – delivering results in a sustainable and effective way with innovation at the core of everything we do."
