The Mayor of Camden, Cllr Jonathan Simpson, has opened a new development for people with disabilities in Haverstock.
The new accommodation has been developed by Origin Housing in partnership with Camden Council. Built to a high standard, it provides three en-suite bedrooms each with their own access to a private shared garden.
The accommodation will enable three young women with disabilities to live locally in Camden near to their families, who have been closely involved with the development.
A further aspect of the partnership working that underpins this development is the arrangement between Origin and Creative Support to provide the residents with care and support to enable them to participate in a range of activities and be part of their local community.
Cllr Simpson said: "There is very high demand for accommodation like this across Camden and in fact the whole of London.
"This project is one that Origin should be proud of for many years to come."
