Whether you are a horticultural company, retail premises or agriculturalist, here at HortiStructures we have the most advanced, cost effective and durable commercial polytunnels and canopies to meet the individual needs of businesses large and small.
Commercial polytunnels form the foundations of the vast majority of horticultural companies as they offer the complete, low-cost solution to easily expand grow houses or even replace existing structures. Their ability to harvest rainwater makes them both eco-friendly and financially appealing. The rainwater can either be used immediately to water the plants or stored for future use, all powered by solar pumps. Because of this, their excellent ventilation and ease in which heating and cooling systems can be installed, these multipurpose structures are rapidly moving to the forefront of many industries.
Agricultural Polytunnels
Whilst polytunnels may be low-cost alternatives to more conventional animal housing, they still offer many advantages: excellent ventilation, natural sunlight, cost-effective heating and cooling, as well as rain harvest systems supplying fresh water where ever needed, powered by our solar pumps.

Garden Centre Polytunnels & Canopies
Our polytunnels and canopies are an excellent addition to any garden centre, providing shelter for your customers, keeping the elements out whilst still retaining natural sunlight. We offer bespoke design at extremely competitive prices, providing you with the highest quality canopies, individually designed to enhance your outdoor areas.
Our canopies are extremely durable and are able to harvest rainwater. This rainwater can be used immediately throughout the garden centre, or can be stored in our purpose-built water tanks to be used at a later date, all powered by solar pumps.
Commercial Polytunnel & Canopy Services
Polytunnel Construction, Refurbishments and Re-clad/Re-skin.
HortiStructures in-house team of construction experts have the experience and expertise to undertake the largest of construction projects, from straight forward polytunnel re-skins to bespoke garden centre canopies.
Starting from a green field site we can survey your proposed project and export the findings onto an AutoCAD design. This will enable us to determine if any earthworks may be required, which will then be integrated into the project proposal. We can fully plan and carry out any required earthworks necessary to construct your new, or extend existing, commercial polytunnels. All of our engineers are fully trained in health & safety procedures including the use of safety nets, excess platforms and are ipaf trained.
Most commercial projects will begin with a thorough consultation by one of HortiStructures senior advisers. Their experience, technical ability and planning skills will play an integral part in ensuring a smooth and successful outcome. They will offer advice on construction materials, heating, irrigation, electrical installations and ensuring the project is cost effective. The team can also help by liaising with local authorities, utility companies, and other interested parties.
When your project enters the construction phase, we at HortiStructures are single minded in our determination to deliver on time and within budget! A complete on site commissioning and back up service is provided, which includes ground work, flooring and drainage systems. From an eight foot single span polytunnel to a sixteen bay multispan, however complex the project, you can rely on us to provide a professional service that best meets the individual requirements of your business.
Every polytunnel and canopy constructed by HortiStructures is covered by a 5 year guarantee.
We also offer professional refurbishment and re-clad services for all polytunnels and canopies, which are also covered by our five-year guarantee. Please contact our experienced engineers to obtain a quotation today.
