Riverside Machinery have recently teamed up with the Microsoft Tag Application to provide the customer with breathtaking digital information.
The application works by inserting a barcode into the tag (the coloured square box). This can be from anything to a link to our website right, viewing our new and used machinery online up to online manuals for our machinery.
We can place these anywhere from the back of our business cards, adverts in magazines, and on our machinery.
It works very simply by pointing your smart phone at the tag, either take a photograph or scan the tag (dependent on your phone) and the app does the rest.
John O Neill of Riveside Machinery Ltd said: "This is a huge development for us. Our exisiting and potential customers from all around the world can for example can read our used machinery advert and then scan the tag to see photos of the machine and watch working videos of the machine for sale. We will also be placing the tags on all our Neuenhauser Star Screens so that the customer and our service personnel can look up vital information when on site, for example a electrical drawing thus saving downtime."
So look out for the tag on all of Riverside's advertising and machinery from next week.
