Trinity's £200m Project Restarts

A building site on which construction originally began in 2007 and has been virtually 'mothballed' since last summer is to spring back into action shortly.

Shepherd Construction will soon restart work on the £210m Trinity Walk scheme in Wakefield after the site was purchased by a consortium comprising the York-based contractor, Area Property Partners and Sovereign Land.

Work has been on hold for more than nine months after a subsidiary of former developer Modus went into administration.

There are now staff back at the site, with plans to restart building works in the coming weeks.

The consortium including Shepherd signed contracts to buy the Trinity Walk site in October.

The scheme is expected to be complete by spring 2011.
