Surrey Basements has been awarded Contractor of the Year in the Structural Waterproofing sector by the Property Care Association (PCA).

The accolade was presented at the PCA's annual awards dinner, held at Old Trafford stadium on 27 November 2025, recognising excellence across the UK property care and construction industry.

The Property Care Association, the leading trade body for the sector, selected Surrey Basements following a judging process that considered audit performance and industry reputation. The company’s director, John Spearman, accepted the award on behalf of the business in front of industry peers.

In a statement, the company expressed its appreciation to partners and collaborators who have supported its growth over the years, crediting them for helping establish Surrey Basements as a leader in the field.

Announcing the award, Chief Executive Sarah Garry said the winning company stood out both for its strong audit results and the regard in which it is held across the industry.
