Kier has been re-appointed by Wiltshire Council to deliver facilities management services across a wide range of public buildings, extending a long-term partnership to 18 years.
The new contract, which runs until 2029 with the option of a further five-year extension, continues Kier Places' role in providing essential services to the council. Kier first began working with Wiltshire Council in 2011.
Following a competitive tender process, Kier was awarded the contract to provide fabric maintenance, fire and security, and drainage services. These services will cover commercial properties including schools, libraries, corporate hubs, leisure centres and depots across the county.
Kier Places, part of Kier Group, specialises in workplace, building and residential solutions across the UK.
The base contract value has been set at £3.4 million over five years on fixed annual rates, excluding additional costs for reactive maintenance and project works.
