Niftylift has said it is "proud" to announce that it has been named as a winner of both the Queen's Award for Enterprise – Innovation and the Queen's Award for Enterprise - International Trade - two of the UK's highest accolades for business success.

Queen's Award for Enterprise – Innovation

This award recognises companies that have demonstrated commercial success through innovative products and is given to Niftylift for the design, development and manufacture of our 28m Hybrid work platform (the HR28 4x4). Launched as the world's tallest electric work platform in 2015, this state-of-the-art work platform combines market-leading performance with innovative safety features and an environmentally conscious power plant.

This award recognises companies that have demonstrated consistent growth in overseas sales over a six-year period and is given to Niftylift in recognition of our outstanding achievement in export sales, with an average increase over that period of 132%.

Niftylift Ltd was founded by Roger Bowden in 1985 and designs, develops, manufactures and distributes mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) around the world.

Roger Bowden, Niftylift's Chairman and Founder, said about the awards: "We are honoured to be recognised for not one, but two prestigious Queen's Awards for Enterprise in 2019. These awards help to illustrate how our dedication to design and innovation, together with our attention to detail and strong customer focus, have allowed us to compete so successfully in this global marketplace.

"I am very proud of the strong and close-knit team we have here at Niftylift and I'd like to thank them all for their professionalism and commitment to ensuring our worldwide reputation and success over the years."

John Keely, Niftylift's Managing Director added: "This is excellent news for Niftylift and for the Powered Access industry. We are proud to be a British manufacturing success story and this recognition will help to promote the importance of the UK manufacturing industry around the world. Huge thanks go to our worldwide network of dealers and our valued customers who have placed their trust in our products and company."

Niftylift will be presented with the Queen's Awards at their world headquarters in Shenley Wood, Milton Keynes later in the year.
