A new British military hangar has been officially opened in Cyprus.
Built by Interserve, the £605,000 hangar is located at Kingsfield airfield in the Eastern Sovereign Base Area.
The Commander of the British Forces in Cyprus, Major General James Illingworth OBE, who unveiled the new facility, said: "I relished the opportunity to attend the ceremony and to open a much-needed facility that provides hangarage for the Joint Services Adventure Training Wing Cyprus."
The project was delivered in 12 months by Interserve, alongside subcontractor Cyprus Service Provider, in partnership with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).
Alan Ardron, Interserve's Account Director in Cyprus, said: "The project illustrates Interserve's ability to deliver complex projects in a short timeframe to a demanding specification.
"I was incredibly proud to be invited to attend the formal opening. The construction work undertaken by Interserve and CSP fulfilled all of our client's expectations."
