The main structure has been completed at St Bede's School in Redhill, Surrey, as part of a major expansion programme.
Morgan Sindall Construction and Infrastructure celebrated the project milestone in a traditional topping out ceremony alongside Headmaster Mr Stephen Crabtree, as well as the customer team from Surrey County Council and the consultant team from Jacobs.
When complete, the expansion will create hundreds of new student places for the school, as well as deliver improvements to St Bede's existing music facilities.
Russell Chatfield, area manager at Morgan Sindall Construction and Infrastructure said: "Reaching the topping out phase is a major milestone in the expansion of St Bede's - it's great to see the building taking shape and to have completed the external structure and we are delighted with how the project is progressing.
"We look forward to continuing our close work with Surrey County Council to enhance the existing facilities and create an outstanding learning environment for pupils and teachers in the Redhill community for generations to come."
The work is expected to be completed in early 2019.
