Milton Keynes Council has officially opened Briar Hill bungalows to tenants.
The bungalows, developed by housebuilder Lovell, are the first council homes built in Milton Keynes for 18 years.
The one- and two-bedroom bungalows in Briar Hill, Stacey Bushes, are owned and managed directly by the council.
Building started in January of this year, with Housing Association Orbit Group Limited having won the competitive tender to build the 13 wheelchair accessible bungalows. The Council is also constructing another 13 bungalows in Bletchley which is due to start in winter 2014/15.
