Some work was good, some unsatisfactory. Our main disappointment has been around communication & the lack of clarification as to exactly how the conversion would look in the end. Here are the main issues: 1) Obvious & prominent join in the rendering / pebble dashing on the outside wall. Attempt 2 was better. It wasnt made clear to us this would be the case. We were offered an additional discounted price to put the issue right but we were not prepared to pay any more for the work. We have put a plant in front of the join in the wall to hide it. 2) Downpipe moved away from wall to enable wall to be rendered & pebble dashed. Pipe was not re-positioned before concrete set, now pipe is not aligned with wall at all. 3) Small step up into new room when we were told it would be level. 4) 3 attempts to get access hatch to inspection chamber correct. 5) Job overran by 1 month. We had high expectations due to the £10,500 cost, but unfortunately these were not met.
