Tennis Court Services
Academy Sports provides a full design and build service for all new tennis and sports court construction projects. From contract award to project hand-over we pay meticulous attention to detail and specification.

We provide tennis court construction, tennis court refurbishment, tennis court resurfacing & reconstruction and tennis court maintenance. The same services are also available for other types of sports court including the increasingly popular Multi Use Games Areas (MUGA).

Tennis Court Construction
We manage each court build project from start to finish. Following initial inquiry, we will visit the proposed site to discuss feasibility, the options available and likely planning requirements, with no obligation. We will then provide a detailed quotation and specification. Tennis court building to the highest standards of quality.

If you decide to proceed, we will manage the entire project, using expert contractors, and making regular site visits to ensure the highest quality of work. Eventually, once we are satisfied that the project is completed to the highest standards, we will hand the facility over to you.

Tennis Court Refurbishment
A well-constructed all-weather surface court, properly maintained, can be expected to last for 10 - 15 years, depending on location. In the interim, however, it may begin to look “tired”.

We can give your existing facility a new lease of life by repainting a hard surface or regenerating artificial grass, repairing or replacing fencing and supplying new netposts, nets and other accessories.

Tennis Court Resurfacing & Reconstruction
All-weather surfaces have been around for over 100 years, and many clients find themselves with a neglected court facility, or simply a tennis court which has worn out. We will appraise the tennis or sports court and advise you as to whether resurfacing is sufficient, or whether full reconstruction of the court is necessary. As with a new court build, we will discuss all the options with you and manage the entire process, leaving you with a product as good as new.

Tennis Court Maintenance
When we hand over a tennis or sports court to you, we will advise you as to the appropriate maintenance for the product you have chosen. We are also happy to assist with annual cleaning, weed control and minor repairs in order to maximise its lifespan and your enjoyment of it.

MUGA Multi Use Games Area
A MUGA is a sports court or block of courts that can be used for a variety of different sports and provides a cost-effective facility for schools, clubs, councils etc. where there is a wide range of sporting demands.

Academy Sports, Surrey provides a full design and build service for all MUGA (or Multi Use Games Area) construction projects. For the duration of the project we pay meticulous attention to detail and can help you take care of the court for its lifetime.

A MUGA in its simplest form could be a single tennis court with lines also marked out for netball and/or basketball. The next level might be a block of three tennis and/or netball courts set side by side, but with a set of five-a-side soccer playing lines marked out longitudinally across all three tennis/netball courts.

At the top end, a MUGA could be a full sized synthetic grass hockey pitch, with markings for perhaps eight tennis courts, and five-a-side pitches running in alternate directions.
