Blinds and child safety

At The Blind Man, we'll always recommend the use of child safety devices on all blinds; such as cord and chain tidies, cord and chain cleats and wand controls. These devices will help reduce the risk of strangulation but cannot be considered foolproof.

Young children can strangle in the loop of pull cords and chains - to avoid this, we encourage you to keep cords and chains out of the reach of young children. Move beds, cots and other furniture away from window blind controls.
