Contour's Exclusive Watergate Bay Development

Nestled in the exclusive resort of Watergate Bay, on the rugged cliffs of the North Cornwall coast, is The Retreat, a luxury residential development, unique in both design and location.

The design team in charge of this sumptuous development sought an array of exterior finishing products which would yield a sleek and stylish look, ultimately enhancing the aesthetic of the building while still delivering on key functional requirements – Contour Casings’ Roofline Systems were identified as the solution.

Design consultants from Contour conducted a free-of-charge site survey and worked alongside the client before recommending their innovative Aluminium wall capping system and fascia & soffit system, both developed by Contour to combine a professional finish with exceptional weather-proofing performance.

Contour's Aluminium wall capping solution has been designed to prevent water ingress and produce a high-quality finish to all types of walls and parapets. Incorporating a number of outstanding features, including wind-testing, anti-corrosion, weather-sealing gaskets and "invisible" fixings, the wall capping system is a complete turnkey solution which, if required, can be "bespoked" to compliment any building construction or specific requirement.

Contour design and manufacture an extensive range of Aluminium fascia and soffit profiles to almost any size or shape. Sections can be made to match existing profiles, making them the perfect choice for both refurbishment and new build projects. The “secret-fix” panel eliminates the presence of visible fixings, producing a seamless and uninterrupted soffit line. Contour Casings’ range of fascia and soffit systems can be tailored to yield both a contemporary or traditional look.

Leigh Simpson, Managing Director at Contour Casings Ltd, said, “We are delighted that our roofline package has been chosen for application on such a prestigious development. We have developed these products over a long period of time and in consultation with industry experts, producing a product that combines finish, function and flexibility”
