Limewash
Limewash is a traditional paint finish that is ideal to protect and seal porous stone and decorate lime rendered surfaces. It's water based and a very eco-friendly alternative to paint. Limewash is also breathable which makes it the perfect choice for old walls where damp can often be a problem. In comparison to more modern paints, limewash will penetrate through the surface of the wall, so the colour is built up by applying multiple coats. We only use natural additives for colouring and we are often able to colour match our limewashes to your precise requirements upon supply of a colour sample. Lime Products
We supply a range of Award Winning Lime Mortars, Putty, Pointing and Plaster mixes to customers throughout the UK. All of our lime products are mixed by hand at our factory in Devon in the South West. We are lime experts with generations of experience in traditional cob and lime building.

Cob Blocks & Wet Mass Cob
We make our cob blocks from a North Devon vernacular mixture of sub soils, mixes, aggregates and straw and are ideally suited to the wetter climes of the Westcountry. They can be used for building and restoration work on traditional cob and earth buildings. Cob provides a great insulation for buildings and is eco friendly with a zero carbon footprint. Cob has been used in building the world over for many centuries and provided a cob property has a good hat (roof) and a good set of boots (stone plinth) should last for many years.

Keim Mineral Paints
Keim Mineral Silicate paints are a durable, lightfast, safe, sustainable breathable paint suitable for use on properties that have been rendered in lime mortar.

Earthborn Paints
A luxurious, ultra-matt finish for interior walls and ceilings, Earthborn paint's unique clay recipe results in a hardwearing and highly breathable paint. There are 72 shades to chose from- this deliciously thick and creamy paint goes on like a dream and often requires fewer coats than conventional emulsions. Being totally free from oils and acrylics, it is a water-based, breathable emulsion suitable for walls and ceilings. It’s especially suitable for lime plaster, older properties and buildings that may have suffered from damp problems, as well as over painting pre-existing paintwork. The high clay content gives Earthborn Claypaint a beautiful creamy consistency making it a joy to use and results in its distinctive totally flat matt finish.
