Electric Car Charging
Design Electrical NI are an authorised installer for the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS). We help our customers apply for EV grants for installing electric vehicle chargers & infrastructure!

We have teamed up with registered manufacturers to provide successful applicants with electric car charger installations in Northern Ireland and the UK.

EV Chargers are designed to safely and efficiently charge electric vehicles. The chargers are installed by fully qualified electricians, to the highest specification and comes with workmanship and manufacturers warranty.

Electrical Maintenance
As an employer or landlord you are required by HSE to maintain all electrical installations and appliances that are used by your employees or on your premises. Design Electrical NI can cover all of these practicalities for you with a regular electrical maintenance contract.

Our energy audit calculations are based on lighting surveys carried out by reputable companies, such as Bell and Ansell.

Testing and Inspection
Electrical installations must be inspected and tested on a regular basis. There are legal requirements which may also affect these requirements. Our inspections are carried out by fully qualified technicians who are NICEIC approved.

Requirements for electrical testing and inspection can range from:

Domestic – You may require a Periodic Inspection Report for mortgage purposes.

Landlords/Letting Agents – HMO require an annual inspection and Periodic Inspection Report to be provided.

Commercial – For compliance with health and safety regulations you will require a Periodic Inspection Report
