Recycling
Mechanical Treatment (tyre shredding)
All end-of-life tyre products of any size are processed by our indoor tyre twinshaft 300HP shredding plant, capable of shredding 20 tonnes of tyres per hour.

Tyres are initially stripped of certain elements, such as bead wires and side-walls. Large metal debris is then removed for recycling. The largest casings are mechanically sheared prior to shredding.

Our plant then shreds the casings ready for supply as either TDF (Tyre Derived Fuel) or to wholesale for use as recycled rubber shred for applications such as horse menages and children’s playgrounds.

All steel products are retrieved by mechanical treatment and sold as a re-usable byproduct. This ensures that all scrap metal is reprocessed for sale as high-quality steel for multiple applications.
