About ESS Ltd (NVQ Training Courses)
NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications)
What Are NVQs?
National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) are based on national occupational standards. These standards are statements of performance that describe what competent people in a particular occupation are expected to be able to do. They cover all the main aspects of an occupation, including current best practice, the ability to adapt to future requirements and the knowledge and understanding that underpin competent performance.
CPCS Training Courses – NVQs
Many companies and employees are finding they are refused access to site because they do not have the correct CPCS Blue Competent Operator card. Most principal contractors and major house builders require construction workers on their sites to hold valid cards. CPCS Red Trained Operator card holders must achieve an NVQ within two years of receiving their card, we are able to help as we deliver a wide range of a wide range of Level 2 plant NVQs - find the right one for you by using the search bar at the top of this page.
Construction NVQs for CSCS Cards
Ensure you are never refused access to site with the correct CSCS card for your occupation and site responsibilities. Whatever your job or level of experience, there is a CSCS card that's right for you. We deliver a wide range of Construction NVQs from Level 2 right up to Level 7 in Construction Senior Management - find the right one for you by using the search bar at the top of this page.
How it Works
Our NVQ process ensures that it is both quick and easy to get your employees through their qualification, designed to provide minimal disruption to you and your business.
NVQ registration happens within 24 hours of an agreed booking, we then assign an assessor to your employee who will assess, tutor and support them throughout the entire process. The individuals will be required to gather evidence and be observed for the occupational competencies listed under each unit title of their chosen qualification. The assessor will support this process and provide help and guidance during visits to make this as easy and smooth as possible. It is important that all learners are actively working in their occupation in order to be able to complete.
Our assessors also complete all the necessary paperwork to ensure everything is in place. Where writing is required, we will also provide assistance and support to anyone encountering difficulties.
Why Do An NVQ?
NVQs are a great way to gain a nationally recognised qualification. Rather than being specific to your employer, you can take an NVQ when you decide to move on with your career. Undertaking an NVQ also demonstrates to your current and future employers that you are competent at your job and have an interest in developing and improving yourself.
An NVQ is ideal for people who want to learn and still hold down a job at the same time. NVQs have minimal disruption on your working day and you will be able to put your new skills to the test straight away!
