Hillhead Reclamation and Salvage are specialist stockists of reclaimed building and landscaping materials and architectural salvage
Architectural Salvage has been around for a long time now, with many people recognising the superior quality of the fittings & fixtures that were once so common in the properties of the past.
Today almost everything is mass produced, it can be very difficult if not impossible to find doors etc. of the right size and style to suit an older property. Other fittings such as fireplaces, lighting & door furniture are equally as hard to source. The quality and individuality that was once expected and commonplace is often lacking in the modern equivalent.
This, together with the realisation that original features can enhance and also be an investment in the value of a property, is the guiding principles of architectural salvage.
Our showroom stocks reclaimed Hakwood and other high quality wooden flooring, internal and external doors, slates, tiles, stone slabs and paving plus vintage treasures such as timber, wall signs, fireplaces, chimney pots and much more. We also supply new laminate and engineered flooring in and much more.
