AWFUL! rental property with leaking roof, Mark attended and called to tell me £450 of work needed carrying out, I agreed he attended without me present and after 90 minutes said he was done. I paid him and 3 days later tenants said roof still leaked. I spent 5 weeks chasing him and the pattern was, make arrangement to attend =no show= excuse. These excuses ranged from son cut head open and in hospital, stuck in traffic, phone screen smashed, MOT on van, van broken down, too wet etc etc. I then read reviews and realised I had been had. The bad reviews tell an identical tale the good reviews I can only assume were written by his friends or family. The ltd company status does not exist any more it was struck off and other reviews tell of how they reported him to trading standards. we are seeking refund or court action and also have to now pay another legitimate roofer to complete the work. MONEY is the only reason Mark attends and if he has been paid FORGET IT he wont come back!HE has broken my initial good will faith in tradesmen and i regret not reading all the reviews that I read when he had taken my money and ran.

Just like to say a huge thank you to Mark and David from M Williams roofing from start to finish the duo were polite and professional, came within an hour of first call, provided a detailed description of their expert opinion as to what was wrong with the flat roof above a bay window ( had been getting water marks inside the house underneath the window coming in from bedroom window and trickling down to downstairs reception). They carried out the work within 2 days of first quote. Mark removed all the old felts installed new ones and assured me that the work carried out will stop all the leaks . The ridges were also repointed and gutters were realigned making sure the water was flowing correctly. It was pleasant to work with Mark and David especially after the previous roofer let me down. Marks work comes with a 10 year guarantee so you can put your mind at ease.

Mr Mark Williams is not a trustworthy or honest operator. He & his colleague carried out unnecessary work on my roof stating it would stop a leak. They used paint as the preventive measure when usually this is only supposed to be a sealant on top of a repaired surface. Furthermore the work they did had nothing to do with the actual leak. When the leak continued they then asked for more money to rectify the actual leak despite & then proceeded not to turn up to carry out the work despite many calls and attempts to contact them.
Im thoroughly disappointed in their conduct!
